You will work closely with the Sales, Product Development, Digital and Innovation teams to identify and evaluate opportunities that convert into new or incremental sales.

RFID Solutions / Encoding / Converting
Digital Identity / Digital Product Passport (DPP)
Item-level Inventory Management
End-to-End Visibility
Your key responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
Identify, assess, develop and manage new programs and business opportunities associated with Avery Dennison's digital solution solution portfolio, working closely with customer deployment teams to deliver successful commercialization 
Connect to the external ecosystem to identify business partners and explore existing players in the digital label space
Develop and maintain a pipeline of ecosystem partners for present and future collaborations
Surface new ideas, products applications and solutions to R&D, innovation and commercial teams
Drive specific H2/3 innovation projects, including internal stakeholders, external companies and push through stage gate process
Closely collaborate with our internal teams providing common enablers across verticals in order to be able to leverage their support for your projects.
Collaborate with our legal and sustainability teams to follow the legislation around PPWR, digital product passports (DPP) and identify digital opportunities in circular packaging
Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences
Develop and maintain working relationships with business partners
Act as a business innovation lead for customers' and prospects' strategic digital initiatives such as supply chain transparency and efficiency, digital consumer engagement, etc.
Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs, and present compelling solutions
Initiate, determine, and present ROI business case analysis for customer opportunities
Surface new ideas, products applications and solution to development teams
Collect and prioritize solutions and technical feedback with solution development teams
Incorporate knowledge of the industry to partner with stakeholders to develop market right solutions, support materials and pricing recommendations across all digital solutions
Stay abreast industry trends by attending trade shows, events, webinars and staying on top of market insights as well as global branding trends via market research reports
Collaborate with other business units to evaluate volume, identify trends, ensure quality
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required with a major in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field strongly preferred
5+ years of experience in RFID, business development or sales
Deep understanding of RFID technology and its applications
A demonstrated track record in developing and executing new business opportunities 
Ability to develop go-to market strategy, as well as execute activities
Have a solid understanding of finance and ROI analysis
Detail oriented, project management and communication skills a must
Strong influencing skills and storytelling skills and ability to champion projects both cross functionally and vertically within the organization
Excellent interpersonal, written communications, and organizational skills
Knowledge of portfolio management theory and practice
Strong working knowledge of the external landscape and associated dynamics that influence emerging market requirements.
Cross functional leadership experience both inside and outside of marketing is preferred
Strategic thinker with keen problem solving capabilities and proven track record of execution
Creativity, out of the norm thinking around what is possible
Ability to travel frequently
