JT4, LLC is looking to find an ambitious and reliable Computer Operator to join our team
This role will be responsible for computer operation compliance, assisting with inventory and maintenance control and the organization of computer data
JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S
Air Force, Space Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II
JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges
The Computer Operator will have great communication skills, organizational awareness and the ability to problem solve effectively

•This position located at China Lake and is not eligible for telework


JOB SUMMARY
-- Essential Functions/Duties Under general supervision, a Computer Operator II sets up, operates, and monitors complex computer operations and peripheral equipment, which is used to process business, engineering, or scientific data
Employee will be responsible for performing the following functions/duties:
• Comply with computer operation policy, standards, and procedures
• Interpret program requirements, audit auxiliary peripheral units to ascertain correctness of input data, and check condition and arrangement of tapes
• Gather data for various reports required by accounting and management or for engineering/scientific applications
• Compile programs for programmers
• Write minor operational programs
• Organize computer input and output of data
• Investigate and locate source of non-standard irregularities
• Analyze and recover program operations in complex error situations
• Assist in the maintenance and inventory control of computer equipment
• Provide technical support to computer users and organize sequence of events in computer operation cycle
• Provide general maintenance and installation support of computer equipment
• Provide support to investigate and troubleshoot problems in operational hardware and software and develop solutions for issues discovered
• Perform other job-related duties, as required
Range Specific Requirements
• Assist direct Supervisor with scheduling and daily tasks
• Interface with customers, gathering requirements and providing assistance with data calls
• Organize and compile data for weekly/monthly reports
• Monitor and maintain charge numbers for team members and reviewing timecards
• Input work orders into database and tracking of tasks
Salary The expected pay range for this position is $50,148.80 annually to $57,678.40 annually
Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay

Working Conditions Work is performed in a typical office environment with no unusual hazards
Occasional lifting (up to 20 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness are required
Travel to remote company work locations may be required
Requirements -- Education, Technical, and Work Experience Vocational/technical or military equivalent training beyond high school and a minimum of three years of job-related experience are required for this position
In addition, a Computer Operator II must possess the following qualifications:
• Demonstrated working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Good planning/organizational skills
• Ability to work under deadlines
