Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Oscar Health is seeking a skilled and dynamic Communications Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a full-time Associate Level role, the Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our communication strategies to promote Oscar Health's brand and mission. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a communications role and possess a strong work ethic and resilience.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance Oscar Health's brand awareness and reputation- Create and distribute engaging content across various platforms including social media, press releases, and newsletters- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding- Monitor media trends and coverage, and provide timely responses to inquiries- Support the company's marketing and public relations initiatives- Analyze communication efforts and provide recommendations for improvement- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a communications role- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines- Persuasive communication skills- Resilient and able to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
