This position will report to the Manager of Automation Engineering.
This position is based in Champlin, MN
You might be travelling up to 40% of your time to customer sites in the U.S. and Canada for start-up/commissioning.
What you will do Prepare material for start-up, take-over and commissioning of plants delivered in cooperation with the project manager. Participate in FAT test and IO testing. Optimize and develop membrane filtration processes and process control. Startup membrane filtration equipment independently or as part of a team Train the customer's operators Participate in troubleshooting and development tasks. Prepare commissioning reports and feedback to sales, project and development team. We believe you have Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Degree as dairy technician, process technologist/engineer, automation technician or similar. 3 years of relevant commissioning experience. Experience in process optimization. PLC programming skills preferred. Proficiency with FactoryTalk View SE HMI development preferred. Previous experience in the food or dairy industry preferred. Experience with Virtual Machines & VMware preferred. Working experience with Microsoft Office required. Good level of troubleshooting capability of processes. electrical and pneumatic systems a plus. Strong, positive oral & written communication skills both internally & with customers required. Willingness to travel up to 40% to customer sites in the U.S. and Canada for start-up/commissioning required. Pay Equity Tetra Pak provides the following compensation range that in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is defined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule. The estimate displayed is just one component of Tetra Pak's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include overtime, annual performance bonus, competitive benefits, and work-related allowances.
Annual Base Salary Range (ABS): $69,000.00 – 85,000.00. Short-term Incentive/Bonus (Variable Pay): Eligible to performance incentive of 10% of ABS.
