Position: Commercial Drywall / Paint Estimator
gpac, a 30+ year family-owned, family run search firm, is partnered with a well-established Commercial Construction Company. They are looking for a Professional Commercial Drywall / Paint Estimator with exceptional skills in Estimating, Project Management, and Sales to add to their growing team.
As a Commercial Drywall / Paint Estimator , you will be responsible for accurately estimating the cost and materials required for drywall and paint projects in commercial settings. Your role will involve assessing project specifications, conducting site visits, and collaborating with clients to understand their needs.
Commercial Drywall / Paint Estimator Responsibilities:
* Estimate Costs: Analyze project requirements, blueprints, and specifications to accurately estimate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for drywall and paint projects.
* Project Management: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Sales: Actively engage with potential clients, cultivate relationships, and generate sales opportunities. Present proposals and bids to clients, addressing their needs and providing solutions tailored to their requirements.
* Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess project conditions, take measurements, and identify any potential challenges or opportunities.
* Documentation: Prepare detailed project proposals, bids, and contracts outlining project scope, timelines, costs, and terms.
* Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Continuously seek opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services.
* Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies related to commercial drywall and paint estimation and construction.
Commercial Drywall / Paint Estimator Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Drywall/Paint Estimator, preferably in a construction or contracting environment.
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to accurately estimate project costs.
* Excellent project management abilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
* Proficiency in using estimation software and familiarity with industry-standard tools and techniques.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Benefits
* Salary: $75,000 - $130,000
