Co-Op - Packaging Engineering (Jul - Dec 2024)

This role will support packaging development on the Action Brands portfolio, including great brands such as Star Wars, Transformers, and Marvel. Candidates must be hard-working, and great teammates with strong interpersonal skills. Co-ops will work in ArtiosCAD to design and develop dielines, and work with the cross-functional team to evaluate cost and help deliver projects on time.  Candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.  Previous graduates are no longer eligible for Hasbro's internship and co-op programs. What You'll Do:Design packages that consider perceived value, aesthetic appeal, and branding direction throughout the product development cycle.Develop packaging concepts through brainstorms for toys and branding statements.Create 2D and 3D CAD files for cost effective, sustainable, and creative packaging.Create detailed packaging specifications and BOM'sPrototype fully assembled packaging; including packaging whites and blistersExposure to a team environment and fast paced schedules.What you'll bring:Creative and conceptual thinking, problem solving, and attention to detailA brainstorming mind to produce package concepts through sketches and explanationsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple projectsStrong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mentalityOpenness for improvement through personal goals and constructive feedbackKnowledge of 2D CAD & 3D in ArtiosCAD and SolidworksKnowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plusHasbro is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
