Cnc Laser Operator

We are currently looking to fill several CNC Laser Operator positions with a Tulsa based fabrication shop.
The laser machine operator will be responsible for the daily setup and operation of one or more CNC laser or cutting machines for a variety of manufacturing products. Hours: Night Weekend Friday-Sunday 6p-6a Pay: $17-$20/hr JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily machine start up and shutdown procedures on CNC cutting equipment. Perform typical laser cutting operations. Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations. Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated by the scheduling department. Perform some machine alignment procedures and optic cleaning to keep equipment at peak operating performance. Promote and maintain company quality standards throughout every process. JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: One (1) or more year of experience operating a CNC Laser or similar CNC cutting machines. Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions. Understanding and capable of reading blueprints. Physical activity is normally required on the job. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Skill in performing accurate arithmetic functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using decimals, percentages, fractions, and ratios. Basic mechanical principles of machine setups, operations, and materials. General knowledge of sheet metal fabricating and assembly practices. Some knowledge with programming is necessary for operation and calibration. High School diploma or GED, preferred.
