Job summary
Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) administer and dispense medication, provide personal care, and assist residents in maintaining independence.
Responsibilities
• Administer and accurately record medication administration• Obtain, record, and report vital signs• Manage medication supply• Provide accounting for all medications• Care for residents' personal needs, safety, and comfort• Assist residents with activities of daily living• Observe and report changes in residents' condition• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents• Assist in dining• Requirements
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the State of Oklahoma• Six months of work experience in a retirement community setting preferred• Effective communication in English• Caring, organized, and able to multi-task
