The Clean Energy Education Program Manager, a new position within PGE's Community Engagement team, will lead all grant-related education programming to support building a more equitable and inclusive clean energy workforce of the future.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the power of educational equity and working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders to create career learning experiences across the state. The ideal candidate has experience working in STEM and/or CTE, with communities that have experienced inequitable access to education, and thrives with collaboration and creativity.

As the Clean Energy Education Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy that will support K-8 clean energy workforce curriculum development and implementation, working with partners to execute an energy mentorship program, and partnering with major clean energy employers to support career learning experiences for high school students and young adults. You will also serve as the lead to the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce Coalition's Education Subcommittee and the AI Workforce Advisory Committee.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management:

Leads the planning and implementation of all grant-funded education initiatives. Manages project partners executing education related deliverables including workforce and AI related curriculum. Serves as the primary point of contact for tribal education department.

Reporting and Compliance:

Works with internal and external partners to ensure completion and submission of all quarterly reports associated with federal grant compliance. Develops strategy for implementation of all grant-related education goals.

Consultation

Ensures strategic alignment between diversity, equity and inclusion, customer experience and employee experience. Serves as a subject matter expert on grant-related education efforts.

Community Engagement

In collaboration with others, develops and implements community partner strategy. Serves as the PGE lead to the Oregon Clean Energy Workforce Coalition's Education Subcommittee and AI Workforce Advisory Committee.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Education

Requires a bachelor's degree in business, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), education, or other related field or equivalent experience.

Experience

Typically requires eight or more years in any combination of external facing roles such as community engagement, business engagement, education outreach, and/or strategic partnerships. Experience with tribes is preferred.

Compensation Range:
$104,325.00 - $173,875.00

In addition, this position is eligible for a performance-based incentive bonus. Actual total compensation is commensurate with experience, skills, and education
