As a Civil Engineer, you will utilize engineering principles to work on a design team responsible for creating and reviewing detailed plans for various highway projects, including roadway reconstruction, drainage, guide rail, traffic control, and erosion and sediment pollution control. You will also be responsible for handling portions of highly intricate projects that involve environmental, economic, and right-of-way constraints. Additionally, you will develop all aspects of plans for bidding a project. This includes preparing complete bid proposals, coordinating all required permits with applicable agencies, and conducting investigations to evaluate existing terrain, location, drainage, and any potential issues necessary to consider in the preparation of design plans.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Successful completion of the Civil Engineer Trainee training program (commonwealth title); or Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; or Four years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an engineer-in-training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline; or One year of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
