Civil Engineer

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Civil Site Engineer in the Birmingham, AL area for a leading Utilities and Energy Client.

Individual will be expected to be in the office at the beginning to work on-site with the team and learn more about exact processes and procedures. After the training is complete, the job will then remain remote unless work dictates they need to return to the office.

Birmingham, AL, will be open to remote after training, must be commutable to Birmingham location

Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years' experience using Civil 3D
Minimum of 5 years' experience with site work/grading design
Ability to perform earth work calculations.
Ability to perform hydrology calculations.
Ability to balance a site and knowledge of retention pond design.
Ability to provide oversight for permitting requirements (municipal, ALDOT, environmental, etc..) where necessary.
Experience providing field support or oversight of construction activities.
