Position Summary:
As the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), you'll be a key strategic partner to our Executive Director, overseeing internal business operations and personnel management across our four locations. Collaborating closely with the senior executive team, you'll drive organizational effectiveness through streamlined processes and ensure compliance with established policies and objectives.
Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate organizational activities to align with established goals and objectives.
Oversee key departments including Facilities, Human Resources, and Administrative teams.
Develop and implement efficient operational processes to enhance business functions.
Partner with senior executives to administer initiatives and programs in line with organizational goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage contracts effectively.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business, Management, Human Resources, or relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
Proven track record of leading and managing cross-functional teams and projects.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in technology and software systems including MS Office and HRIS.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to work flexible hours and possess a valid driver's license with current auto insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
SHRM CP or SCP certification.
Knowledge of non-profit operations.
Familiarity with the adoptive/foster care system.
