Responsibilities
• Performing all duties outlined in the Medical Technologist/Histology Technician job description• Being the technical expert for their section/shift• Managing the section/shift and participating in overall laboratory management• Interacting with patients from neonate to elderly with different illnesses
Requirements
• Completion of a Bachelor's degree in a related science and an accredited program in Medical Technology• National certification at the technologist level, ASCP or Master's degree preferred• SBB preferred for Blood Bank Supervisor, HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) preferred for Histology• At least three years of relevant full-time laboratory experience• At least two years of experience in the designated specialty for Section Heads/Shift Supervisors
