Charge Registered Nurse Educator / RN OR Responsibilities: Ensure the curricula are up to date and in alignment with agency and regulatory standards. Assess the learning needs of adult learners and tailor educational opportunities to meet diverse learning styles and ensure effective learning. Enhance the learning experience and foster new skill development, utilizing a variety of training techniques and methods of instruction. Monitor employee compliance with annual competencies and skill attestation. Collaborate with Director of Nursing to develop and facilitate the orientation process of all new nurses. A minimum of two years in a long term care facility, one year of which has been in a nursing supervisor capacity preferred The ability to coordinate and communicate in a multidisciplinary setting Demonstrated competency to teach adult learners Required Qualifications: BCLS (all Educators), ACLS (Acute Educators) Certified Dialysis Nurse/Certified Nephrology Nurse (may be obtained within first 6 months of employment Current and valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: BCLS instructor ACLS instructor
