Position Summary:
Are you a Certified Residential Appraiser looking for a fulfilling opportunity? Look no further! As part of our team, you'll be responsible for providing accurate market value appraisals for residential real estate while staying informed about the latest trends in the real estate market. What You'll Do (Essential Functions):
- Deliver exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
- Conduct thorough valuation analysis, draw insightful conclusions, and prepare precise appraisal reports within designated timelines.
- Perform property inspections and gather data from property stakeholders.
- Investigate and collect data to form an opinion on the value of residential real estate, utilizing various sources such as comparable data, market statistics, and tax records.
- Produce high-quality reports adhering to industry standards and regulations, including Aloft's SLA expectations, USPAP guidelines, and appraisal laws.
- Address and resolve any issues related to appraisals as they arise.
- Stay updated on market and economic conditions to ensure accurate assessments.
- Utilize technology effectively throughout the appraisal process.
- Undertake additional projects or duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring (Essential Qualifications):
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree in a relevant field of study, or equivalent experience.
Professional Licenses/Certifications:
- Certified Residential Appraiser license in the state of operation for the company.
Experience:
- Proficiency with various appraisal tools such as Total, Total Mobile, iPad Mini, and Disto, among others.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong understanding of appraisal software, report development, underwriting requirements, and appraisal methodology.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to adapt to and embrace new technologies.

Work Environment:
This position offers a remote office environment, with occasional visits to residential properties in various settings and weather conditions. Please note that exposure to pets during property inspections may occur.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, you'll engage in regular verbal communication. The role may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Occasional lifting and/or moving of items up to 25 pounds may be necessary. Additionally, you may be required to enter crawl spaces and use a ladder to access attics. Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth vision, and color vision, are essential for this role.
