Responsibilities
• Assist patients with activities of daily living• Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment• Take and record vital signs• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients• Help patients with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines• Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior• Ensure patients' rooms are clean and tidy• Assist with documenting patient information• Follow infection control protocols• Collaborate with healthcare professionals
Requirements
• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)• High school diploma or equivalent• Previous experience as a CNA preferred• Basic knowledge of nursing principles and practices• Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work effectively in a team environment• Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects• Flexibility to work various shifts• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
