Responsibilities
• Providing emotional support and assisting patients with basic needs• Collecting information about conditions and treatment plans• Assisting nursing staff in routine checkups• Answering patient calls• Examining patients for injuries/wounds• Repositioning patients who are bedridden• Removing objects that could cause injuries• Prioritizing safety for the elderly• Lifting patients into beds, wheelchairs, or exam tables• Cleaning and sanitizing patient areas• Providing and emptying bedpans• Changing sheets and restocking rooms
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED• Completed CNA Certificate Program• Certified/Licensed to practice as a CNA• One or more years of current CNA experience
