Education Bachelor's Degree required.Job Responsibilities Work with leadership to create and identify business plan goals and objectives for the overall capture process for each unique business lineDevelop federal government proposal responses from RFP to final submissionResearch assigned opportunities and develops a strategy to win the opportunityResearch 8(a) and HUBZone expiring contracts database for relevant leadsFacilitates the development of proposal strategy, themes, and discriminatorsDevelops proposal management tools to include compliance matrix and fulfills requirements through proposal development effortAssists with proposal writing and/or identifies SME's that can effectively contribute to responding to proposal requirementsManages proposal submittal, logistics, and delivery of the final documentContributes to updating the proposal database to include final resumes, project descriptions, and past performance databases in accordance with the proposal close-out processProactively and independently develops, maintains, and continuously applies proposal planning processes to include directive, outlines, schedule, budget, storyboards, win themes, action items, statement of work analyses, etc.Leads effective, results-driven proposal preparation, kickoff, and review meetingsCoordinates timeline of events and proposal outline to assign responsibilities with the business development teamGuides writers and editors to focus on strategy, themes, and discriminatorsReviews all updates and changes made to proposals and RFP/RFIsCoordinates contract related documents (non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, etc.) with the compliance teamAssists with startup/transition support, bridging the proposal to actual implementationPerform other duties as assignedPosition Requirements A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in capture management, proposal management, or similar related experience in the government contracting arenaExperience using the GovWin, SAM.gov, and USAspending.gov platformsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent time management and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently or in a team, as neededAdvanced knowledge of MS Office, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, including creating templates, setting styles, using formulas Trained in the Shipley proposal processKnowledge of Federal/DoD contracting, FAR/DFARs NIKA is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
