Portland, OR 97201 CorVel Corporation is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to coordinate customer integrations and to drive software feature improvement initiatives. One aspect of the position will be measuring application activity & behavior, analyzing the results, presenting the data and proposing enhancements to leadership. Another will be overseeing the usage of our Customer Acceptance Testing environment, including planning test scenarios, scheduling integrations, working directly with Customers on workflow
configuration and technical troubleshooting of issues. This position is highly visible within the organization and will involve both significant facetime with internal & external contacts and heads-down development & analysis.
The ideal candidate will have professional programming experience, a proven history coordinating technical projects, demonstrated ability to assimilate business practices, and a thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. In addition, you must be a critical thinker, be highly organized, be able to see the big picture, possess a keen attention to detail, and have the patience to listen and understand but the conviction to speak up and explain your decisions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Run regular meetings with both Development teams & Project Stakeholders Define, implement & track metrics/KPIs to measure project success Schedule meetings as needed with Customers to coordinate integration testing Become a Subject Matter Expert on your assigned project areas Prioritize your assignments and deliver on time with minimal oversight Adhere to the goal of delivering and maintaining the highest quality of software Learn our business model and understand existing enterprise applications SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years prior experience with hands-on software development 2+ years as a Business Analyst or Product Manager OR 2+ years in a Project Coordination or Team Lead role 1+ years working experience with Data Analytics & visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau Outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Familiarity with build/release processes and continuous integration BONUS POINTS: Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science PAY RANGE: CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
Pay Range: $56,860 – $129,456
