This is a newly created critical role within Cigna Investment Management's IT team and requires a seasoned and dedicated leader. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the team's success and ensuring the smooth delivery and operation of critical investment management systems. In this role, you will be a Senior leader in the CIM IT organization and expected to help drive the culture of the organization. Since this is a new position on the team you can expect the responsibilities listed here to evolve.
Responsibilities include:
Lead and collaborate with a team of systems analysts responsible for supporting and maintaining software applications used across Cigna Investment Management. Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for development and support. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to assigned systems. Develop and implement solutions to optimize system performance and stability. Work with the QA Team to design and execute test plans for new system features and released, ensuring quality and functionality. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the team's approach and effectiveness. Document system processes, procedures, and knowledge for future reference and training purposes. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering their development and expertise. Participate in incident management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with other technology teams across Cigna to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems. Engage Architects and Developers as required to resolve time critical issues with existing systems (Production Support) including abends, data issues, scheduling, and other issues that may arise. Provide feedback to management on team performance. Work with the appropriate parties to create Stories to feed the Agile process.
