The BI Analyst will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision making within the CIS sector. The role involves working closely with cross functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, ultimately contributing to CIS' growth and competitiveness.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide data analytics support for the Marketing, Product, Sales, and Finance teams to translate internal and external data sets into relevant business insight through building reports and applications in BI toolsAbility to own and lead the design and development of dashboards/prototype reports, ad-hoc communications and presentations that meet the business needs including progress reports, variance analysis and benefit realization summaries.Optimize existing reporting processes to increase speed, allow new insights, and align with the larger Trimble reporting structure.Collaborate cross-functionally to align on source datasets and definitions and determine how to store and report on synthesized dataDevelop and maintain BI data architecture to show existing data in new ways and connect data between systems to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insightsCreate and maintain documentation of tools and data sourcesOversee data auditing to ensure data integrity and accuracy of reportsQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:5+ years work experience in BI, business, finance, or related fieldsBachelor's degree in business related area, or equivalent experienceExperience with BI tools (e.g. Domo) and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail and follow through in attending to user needsDemonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback.Tells stories with numbers.
