Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Enterprise Architect who will serve as a key part of Motiva's Information Technology team. Reporting to the Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture Manager, you will play a central role in delivering robust solutions to diverse and intricate business challenges. Your contributions will extend to defining the future direction of IT within your functional and business areas.

This position will spearhead the delivery of efficient and effective solutions to address diverse and complex business problems.

Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure and Enterprise Architecture Manager to shape the future direction of the IT function and business areas. Assume responsibility for the development, documentation, and execution of strategic roadmaps for infrastructure, middleware, cloud, and corporate enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

Foster robust partnerships with diverse business functions, assessing needs across different value streams.
Align cross-functionally to identify opportunities, synergies, and efficiencies across all value streams.
Lead analysis of desired future-state capabilities and current IT environments, recommending improvement solutions.
Develop architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for infrastructure, middleware, cloud, and corporate enterprise applications.
Collaborate with business peers to present business capability models and roadmaps for discussion and decision-making.
Demonstrate broad technical leadership, influencing beyond the immediate team and driving organizational change.
Contribute across various roles including thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Develop a comprehensive, enterprise-wide perspective, encompassing strategies, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
Analyze existing systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement, developing new processes, and implementing changes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, consulting with stakeholders, and validating new processes and systems.
Apply architectural principles to business solutions, evaluating existing processes using various methodologies.
Establish connections between business strategies and improvement initiatives.
Visualize and create high-level models for future analysis, extending and maturing the business architecture.
Engage with business and technical leaders to identify opportunities, outline potential value, and assess risks and constraints.
Plan and execute both business and IT initiatives, focusing on process architecture strategy.
Demonstrate industry knowledge in EH&S Programs and best practices for implementing S/4 EAM/IAM, Hydrocarbon Value Chain etc., processes in the Oil & Gas industry.
Act as a liaison conveying information needs between business and IT, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies.
Project manage process improvement initiatives, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
Provide leadership and expertise throughout the design and enhancement of processes.
Experience and Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
10+ years of experience in management and delivery of:
Financial Systems (e.g. SAP, Blackline, Ariba, Track, etc.)
Business processes including controls, workflow, and integration with core applications such as SAP and Ariba
Processes related to contingent labor, auxiliary labor, and skilled labor management, along with associated tool
Compliance and record retention policies and practices.

Hands on experience with system design, technical architecture and translating into technical deliverables
Ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors, contractors, and organizational stakeholders
Proven ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment experiencing high levels of change.
Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions
Ability to translate business needs into requirements
Proficiency in estimating the financial impact of alternatives.
Ability to apply multiple solutions to complex business problems
Ability to rapidly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
Ready to think, behave and act in an innovative consulting manner to drive the organization's digital business strategies
Proven influential presence within the organization, coupled with strong team collaboration skills.
Effective at driving short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals
Preferred Qualifications:

TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)

The salary grade of this role is commensurate with experience. The role is expected to be a salary grade 18-20
