As a Business Development Associate at Millennium, your primary responsibility will be to discover talent, while developing and maintaining strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers and building our employment brand.You will be involved in the entire recruitment life cycle for mandates across all asset classes, levels and strategies andhave the opportunity to collaborate with investment teams across the firm. Your passion for recruiting and your ability to recognize great talent will enable you to facilitate the hiring of top candidates and contribute to Millennium's success.Principal ResponsibilitiesSupport the evaluation and diligence of Equity Analyst candidates which includes:Conducting detailed reviews of candidate skills and functional abilitiesBuilding, compiling, and evaluating case study materials and financial modeling exercisesBenchmarking talent across multiple dimensions (tenure, coverage, asset class, etc.)Constructing outputs that effectively capture insights from the responsibilities detailed aboveAdvising Senior Portfolio Managers with rigorous analysis of candidates to inform effective hiring decisionsLiaise with Equities Management to optimize hiring procedures and maintain strategic alignmentAnalyze data pertinent to candidates and candidate processes to increase efficacy with identifying and measuring talentQualifications/Skills RequiredBachelor's Degree required, 3-8 years' experience preferred in Markets or Corporate Finance (i.e., Fund of Funds, Equity Research, Consulting, or Investment Banking)Excellent analytical skills with a background or working knowledge of financial modeling and/or fundamental research are a plusSituational awareness including the ability to prioritize and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic work environmentSuperior relationship building skills with ability to develop strong relationships with candidates, and to build partnerships across teams and functions at MillenniumStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExceptional technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and presentation buildingDetail oriented and demonstrates a strong ownership of work productAbility to maintain a high degree of confidentialityUncompromising integrity and ethicsMillennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $200,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
