Job summary
The Business and Administrative Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the Teaching and Learning Transformation Center ( TLTC ), providing comprehensive support to the Assistant Vice President, the TLTC staff, and their administrative and business operations.This position ensures seamless execution of administrative tasks, project coordination, and office operations, aligning with university policies and procedures.The role involves handling financial duties, project management, travel coordination, and logistics, requiring meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive support to the Assistant Vice President, TLTC staff, and their administrative and business operations.• Ensure seamless execution of administrative tasks, project coordination, and office operations.• Collaborate closely with the Senior Staff, Business Managers, and other coordinators on campus to maintain high-quality customer service, confidentiality, and efficiency in daily operations.• Handle financial duties, project management, travel coordination, and logistics with meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.• Respond to various inquiries both external and internal to the Center and work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors.• Be a welcoming, forward-thinking, and self-motivated individual.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.• Minimum of three years of full-time experience supporting a multi-person work environment.• Excellent administrative writing and verbal skills.• Demonstrated experience with basic applications and software required to perform the work.• Demonstrated experience with providing outstanding, prompt customer service.• Experience with event management, consultation services, and/or customer support is preferred.• Exceptional ability with email workflow and automated tasks is preferred.• Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities.• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as needed.• Experience working in a higher education setting is preferred.
