Vaco is actively seeking a remote Business Analyst / Business Control Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire position with our client who is a highly respected organization and proven leader in their field!
Business Analyst Summary
As a Business Control Analyst you will be responsible for gathering, documenting, and analyzing various aspects of business operations, identifying areas for improvement, and presenting outcomes to business and technical stakeholders.
Select Responsibilities:
Process Discovery: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current state business processes including inputs, outputs, activities, roles, and systems involved.
Process Mapping: Develop detailed process maps, flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and other visual representations to illustrate the end-to-end flow of business processes and identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Gap Analysis: Conduct gap analysis to compare current state processes against best practices, standards and organizational objectives.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of process flows, business requirements, functional specifications, test plans, and other project-related artifacts.
Requirements Elicitation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Solution Design: Translate findings into detailed functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes, to guide the development of IT solutions.
Reporting and Presentation: Prepare and present documents, reports, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, finance, and operations to support business initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in process mapping and visualization tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucid, or similar software. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse corporate audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. Additional Details :
