The LaQuinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay property will be a select service hotel complete with 125 rooms, an indoor swimming pool, exercise gym, a meeting space, and limited food service including breakfast buffet. Position Description
We are looking for a customer service professional to join our new Dual Branded LaQuinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay Mount Laurel/Moorestown!
As a key member of the team, the Breakfast Attendant has influence and accountability for the day to day guest experience in the hotel. Reporting to the Operations Supervisors, the Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the highest of customer service to help the property to achieve its business goals. Job Responsibilities Prepare and display food items as needed each day (i.e., coffee, and other beverage items, hot buffet items, fruits, pastries, cereals, spreads, etc.) Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment Maintain close interaction with staff and guests to ensure guest satisfaction Prepare and serve food using safe food handling and storage guidelines Appropriately package any food items to be used the following day Inventory food and beverages supplies as needed each day Perform other duties as assigned by Management Requirements A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred. Customer service experience preferred. Reading and communication skills. Ability to work weekends and holidays is required. Lahn Hospitality and Amusement Group is a growing family-owned company comprised of a variety of hospitality businesses including amusement parks, a hotel, restaurants, bars, golf courses and more.
Since 1997 The Funplex has owned and operated an amusement park company with three locations along the East Coast. Two locations are in New Jersey with one additional small footprint park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina which opened in 2021. The parks are a combination of family-friendly and thrill amusement rides, waterparks, bowling centers, and arcades.
In December of 2021, Lahn Hospitality Group purchased The Legacy Club at Woodcrest located in Cherry Hill, NJ; a country club with a prestigious golf course and membership. The club has recently had a significant renovation. In addition, the group opened its first dual branded hotel, La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites, Fall of 2023.
