Willamette Valley Vineyards, the leading producer of Willamette Valley appellated Pinot Noir, is seeking a Bottling Line Worker who is motivated and has a desire to work in the Oregon wine industry. Hours and Days of this position: Our bottling Line Workers usually work Tuesday-Friday, (10-hour shifts, four days a week). During Harvest (typically Sept-November) this position may be required to work up to 6 days a week and 12 hours shifts.
Position Overview: This position performs general bottling processes of our wines, and basic bottling line functions. The Bottling Line Worker is expected to maintain and promote a professional attitude, appearance, and work area.
Job Responsibilities: Perform general bottling process, basic bottling line functions. May rotate between bottle labeler, case backer and boxer. Assist in cleaning of the warehouse as needed. Operate all winery machinery safely and effectively. Maintain the highest standards for cleanliness. Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. Make recommendations for safety improvements and report any safety violations to winemaker. Assist with Cellar Master wine work as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Be able to work the required shifts, in various weather conditions. Be able to lift 40lbs. Forklift license is preferred, but not required. Possess a passion for wine, and desire to work in the wine industry. Be a team player and follow all safety protocols. Willamette Valley Vineyards is an equal opportunity employer.
