Responsibilities
• Create invoices and understand contract terms and timing for invoice generation.• Field questions from customers related to invoicing and establish strong relationships with operations and customers.• Assist in collections process, update customer files, and transition customers to ACH payment for invoices.• Handle customer invoicing, credit memo creation, collections, and maintain customer contact records.• Set up and maintain customer portals, assist with month-end tasks, and count petty cash.• Handle company owned equipment charges, sales tax log, and coordinate with internal stakeholders for invoicing support.• Research and follow up on billing questions from clients and sales reps.• Assist with data entry special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills.• Strong professional communication, including writing, speaking, and active listening.• Great customer service skills and in-depth knowledge of industry best practices.• Basic math, bookkeeping, and accounting skills.• Organization, time management, and prioritization abilities.• Effective computer skills to use bookkeeping and account management software.• 2-5 years of billing experience or recent college graduate.• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word and intermediate Excel skills.
