About the Position: With supervision, provides assessments; individual, marital, and family therapy; and education services to a diverse clientele.
A Typical Day as a Behavioral Health Therapist: Conduct family centered, inclusive, trauma-responsive, and strengths-based assessments of the behavioral health needs of individual youth and adults, couples, and families; Partner with clients and identified collaterals to develop treatment goals to address their presenting issues and needs; Build on client strengths and provide goal-directed mental health therapy and counseling services to clients Offer services at times convenient to clients to include some evenings; Coordinate services with and provide consultation to other systems on behalf of clients, such as schools, medical providers, case workers/care coordinators, etc. Document services as required by legal statute, funder requirements, and agency policies. Work Hours: Schedule is flexible and non-traditional; based around the availability of clients.
Does the Following Apply to You?
