Do you want to be part of team that strives to create experiences that celebrate our seniors?Clearwater at Rancharrah is a premier luxury senior living community in Reno and is looking for a part-time Baker to join the team!Clearwater Living associates enjoy great benefits:Excellent benefits401(k)contributionsPaid Vacation and Sick leaveExciting opportunities to growDynamic and fast paced environmentCulture of people first and service alwaysThe responsibilities of the Baker are to prepare food of the highest quality and taste for the residents, guests, and associates at the community in accordance with the recipes and planned menus provided.ResponsibilitiesPrepare all food items in accordance with planned menus and recipes provided and ensure the meals are appetizing, nutritional, and meet any special dietary requests or requirementsEnsure all food is served at the correct temperature and charted as suchEnsure there is proper plate presentationConsult with the Chef on any menu changes or substationsEnsure food storage areas are clean and organized at all timesPrepare food in accordance with all governmental, sanitary, and dietitian regulations as well as established policies and proceduresTake care of food orders when they arrive in a timely mannerDispose of food and waste in accordance with established policiesEnsure all leftovers are properly stored, labeled, and datedRecord temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashersResponsible for cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areasMay supervise Dishwashers in the absence of the Culinary ManagementPrepare upcoming menu items ensuring they are stocked, and pulled as directed by recipesResponsible for safe storage and efficient use of all items within the kitchen's inventoryEnsure regulatory compliance and report any issues or concerns immediatelyComply with Clearwater Living standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient community operationsDisplay a positive and professional image through actions and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when workingRepresent the Clearwater Living principles and core values on a daily basisPerform other duties and tasks as assigned or requiredQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBackground clearances as required by government regulationsClearwater Living is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
