Automotive Service Technician

Job summary
Chapman Hyundai Scottsdale is looking for experienced Automotive Technicians to join our team!Our qualified technicians are well versed in vehicle maintenance and repairs to keep our customers' vehicles running like new.This role requires collaboration with other technicians and Service Advisors, and reports to the Service Management team.
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.• Perform work specified on the repair order per dealership standards• Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs• Complete warranty repair work following manufacturer specifications
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years automotive service experience required• ASE and/or Hyundai certifications are ideal• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills• Keen attention to detail and focused on accuracy• Basic computer skills• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check
