Audit Senior
A well-respected CPA firm in the area is looking to add an experienced Audit Senior to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients a competitive base salary, benefits, and a great group of mentors. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a team of highly motivated staff.
Responsibilities :
* Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
* Develop an understanding of the client's business.
* Supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment.
* Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise.
* Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient.
* Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Partners
* Identify performance improvement opportunities.
* Recognize and inform management of opportunities to increase the level and types of services to clients.
* Ensure professional development through ongoing education.
Qualifications :
* BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
* 2 years of relevant experience in a public accounting environment, auditing financial statements
Preferred Qualifications :
* Previous experience auditing clients in a variety of industries.
* Demonstrated experience and ability to act in charge of engagements.

Pay : $60,000- 120,000
Education : Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience : Previous/Current Public Accounting Experience 2+ years (Required)
License/Certification : CPA License (Preferred)
