Lotus Cars USA is responsible for the Marketing, Sales and After Sales of the Lotus products in the US region. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Attribution Engineer in the Engineering Department to join us in our US HQ based Texas.
Summary: You will be comfortable with the full end-to-end process of the design journey and be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning using a blended approach that is both culturally and regionally fit for purpose. You will work with the Commercial and Technical Programme Manager and SME's in order to design content that meets the needs of our diverse dealers.
What you'll do: The Attributes Integration team leads the Safety, NVH, Performance, Aerodynamics, Economy, Climate and Thermal Management attributes as well as the complete vehicle integration with other attributes. The team focuses on the regional attributes for premium and sport brand of Lotus Technology group in cooperation with the global R&D organization in Germany, UK and China. Improve development process, verification methods and standards related to vehicle attributes with focus on NA market. Define, plan and execute full vehicle validation of the regional vehicle attributes. Support aftersales and quality teams in analyzing and solving critical issues. Plan and execute benchmarking activities. Run Management Drives and test, as well as other launch activities for Attributes Integration in NA. Report all activity status to leadership. Inform stakeholders about updates of North American regulation and consumer metrics requirements. What you'll bring: Mechanical engineering degree with focus on vehicle technology or equivalent. Experience in vehicle integration on a vehicle and system level, with exposure to premium and high-performance products. Enthusiasm and passion for vehicles – especially new energy vehicles. Open minded, structured, solution driven, hands-on engineer, seeking to work in a multicultural environment. Excellent communicator. Fluent in English. Willingness to work in a strong initiative-taking environment. Flexible regarding travels within the US/Canada. Valid driver's license.
