What is the work?
Recruiting: - High Volume Recruiting- Hourly Logistics Positions
- Recruits internal and external candidates
- Sources candidates through multiple sources (e.g., cold calls, direct recruiting referrals, networking)
- Reviews resumes; assesses candidates for knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Conducts first-level interviews; makes recommendations to hiring managers; reviews / discusses candidate performance with subsequent interviewers
- Assists candidates with new hire activities
- Organizes / executes H-E-B participation in job fairs and college recruiting activities
- Conducts pre-employment activities such as drug testing, background / reference checks
- Develops compensation package, relocation, and offer letter for candidates
- Uses e-recruiting system (e.g., My Career 2.0) to input / extract data as needed
What is your background?
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field, or comparable experience
- 0+ years of retail or recruiting experience
Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an Associate Recruiter at H-E-B?
- Interviewing, assessment, negotiation, influencing skills
- Analytical, project management, time-management, and organization skills
- Verbal / written communication and presentation skills
- PC skills (MS Office and database systems)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasks; attention to detail
- Ability to work issues at all levels of H-E-B
