The Associate Manager, Category Marketing, reports to the Sr. Manager, Category Marketing, and is responsible for helping to create and evolve initiatives and campaigns that will accelerate growth for the Mass Cosmetics category and Ulta Beauty Collection brand. You will be accountable for delivering strong, results-driving strategy, messaging and activation across omnichannel marketing efforts. 
The ideal candidate will have a brand marketing background, be detail oriented, proficient at critical thinking and collaborating, all while possessing a passion for beauty and an aptitude for retail. 
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Support the development and execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns and initiatives including brief development, messaging approach and go-to-market plans for the Mass Cosmetics category and Ulta Beauty Collection brand. Collaborate closely with customer growth marketing, consumer insights, media, creative, merchandising, and other key stakeholder groups to ensure execution of marketing plans/strategies is data driven, clear and cohesive. Analyze performance and learnings from previous campaigns and initiatives to inform future strategies and execution. Maintain knowledge of retail and industry happenings, consumer and cultural insights, internal operation processes and competitive landscape Foster a collaborative work environment. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated and cohesive strategies, while still empowering individual teams to own their work. THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS 4+ years brand marketing experience; consumer facing marketing experience preferred. Experience developing and executing marketing strategies. Proactive self-starter with strong project management, prioritization, organization and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a creative team and/or agency partners. Ability to interpret data, insights and trends to fuel consumer centered campaigns and initiatives. Strong written and oral communication skills that influence decision making and inspire great work. Comfortable interacting with all levels within the organization Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment and highly skilled in prioritization with a strong attention to detail. Ability to navigate ambiguity, and help shape, guide, and move the planning and team forward.
