Careers that Change LivesThe Associate Market Development Specialist is responsible for driving therapy awareness, adoption, penetration growth, and marketing development execution of programs for patients and healthcare professionals within a specific geographic region.  This position will support US field sales to accelerate growth of our InterStim™ systems. The position will focus on Market Development efforts to provide greater patient access to Pelvic Health (PH) therapies by providing marketing and educational efforts to:Increasing the number of patients that receive access to our systems. Reduce the number of OAB/FI Patients that are seen by a referring Physician, but not referred. Reduce the number of OAB/FI patients seen by a treating physician, but not treated.The hiring manager has a preference for candidates to be in Atlanta, GA; Minneapolis, MN; Houston, TX or Cleveland, OH. However, this role may be eligible for remote work for highly qualified candidates.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Create and execute Therapy Awareness Programs for patients and clinicians.Collaborate with sales, marketing, and potential customers to determine their needs.Collaborate with marketing or other staff of key accounts on the design of comprehensive market development strategies to drive referrals within hospital settings, referring physician offices, and with patient outreach.Report key learnings and best practices internally, and to the field, to make recommendations to the business for program enhancements.Collaborate with cross functional team members in identifying and implementing market development strategies.Identifies markets, opportunities, and determines the feasibility of business and therapy development.Performs economic analyses on new or improved market development opportunities.Develops and disseminates information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives.Travel: <25% travelMust Have: Minimum RequirementsBachelors degree required0 years of experience requiredNice to HaveMaster's degree1 - 2 years of marketing, market development, or sales experience Digital or social media marketing experienceGraphic design experienceExperience with healthcare/medical/pharmaceutical, sales, and/or working with hospital management through either direct employment or sales. Experience working with or implementing patient care pathways.About MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
