Associate General Counsel

The Pictsweet Company is growing! Family owned and operated for over 75 years, Pictsweet is a frozen vegetable producer with agricultural roots. We are hiring an In-House Counsel at Pictsweet's corporate office in Bells, TN. The In-House Counsel provides legal advice to Company management under the direction of the General Counsel and Secretary.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements. Maintain the Company's regulatory compliance program; recommend appropriate revisions and modifications; and provide audit support to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Engage, evaluate and manage outside counsel. Perform such other duties as assigned by the General Counsel. QUALIFICATIONS: J.D. degree. Current Tennessee Bar admission EXPERIENCE: Five-years of general corporate law and commercial transactions Prefer corporate experience within manufacturing organization. SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work; possess effective oral, written communication and presentation skills; and be technology literate.
