Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:Our in-house creative team is looking for a conceptually led, human-centric, design-oriented leader who can mentor and manage multidisciplinary designers on print and digital form to make compelling creative come to life. You will also be responsible for collaborating with writers, marketing managers, and product managers to create engaging and meaningful experiences for our customers. You will also work alongside the creative team and Account Managers to create award-wining campaigns and strategic collateral tactics for the Product and Channel Marketing team.Where you come in:You will develop strong, sound, and innovative concepts and inspire the same in your team.You will get the best work done by collaborating across disciplines.You will communicate conceptually and directionally especially during creative pitches.You will actively encourage continuous improvement in creative thinking among designers.You will build productive, trusting relationships with internal partners.You will help art direct in all phases of the creative process, from concept to completion.You will manage and track the performance and career growth of the team of designers.What makes you successful:You have 5+ years experience in a creative leadership role (at least 3+ years in digital, social or ad agencies).You have hands-on experience in designing and creative execution - from concept to production to delivery - to create holistic marketing campaigns across multiple channels and customer touch points.You have strong communication and organizational skills and be able to adapt to changes in priorities.You have experience working from creative briefs across multiple conceptual directions on digitally forward projects and campaigns.You have expertise in social campaigns, content creation and converting human insights into impactful creative.You have knowledge of interaction design trends and best practices.You have extensive experience managing creativity and enhancing teamwork through mentoring, supervision, and leadership.You have familiarity with Asana (Project Management tool) and Brandfolder (Digital Asset Management tool) is a plus.What you'll get:A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs.
