Associate Attorney - Construction Law
Job Summary:
A prominent legal firm specializing in construction law, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a focus on Construction Law, including expertise in Mechanics Lien & Payment Disputes, Public Contracting, Administrative Law, Licensing, Regulatory Compliance, Contracts, and Negotiation. This is an exciting opportunity for a legal professional passionate about the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload in Construction Law, including Mechanics Lien & Payment Disputes, Public Contracting, and Administrative Law.
- Provide legal advice and representation on licensing matters and regulatory compliance.
- Draft and review contracts, negotiate agreements, and ensure legal compliance.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with clients to address their specific legal needs in the construction sector.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar Nevada and in good standing.
- 3-8 years of experience practicing law with a focus on Construction Law.
- Strong knowledge of Mechanics Lien & Payment Disputes, Public Contracting, and Administrative Law.
- Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
- Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
