ATARID has been retained to identify an Asset Manager by our client, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm specializing in commercial real estate assets:
Title: Associate - Asset Management, Commercial Real Estate - Owned Assets
Responsibilities:
-Assist the Asset Manager with onboarding new assets, capital projects, major tenant improvement/construction projects and value-add during the asset lifecycle, focus on increased occupancy rates across the portfolio.
-Analyze leases and rental rates and assists in leasing decisions; monitors overall leasing status and strategies for assigned assets.
-Verify accuracy of property operating statements and monthly/quarterly variance analysis.
-Support with developing, managing and completing project budgets and schedules as per approved budgets, schedules, and underwriting/yield requirements.
-Bring projects to successful completion by helping to coordinate design and construction activities with architect, contractor, surveyor, and consultant selection.
-Support the Asset Manager in preparing status updates on portfolio assets by providing relevant reports and supporting documentation on a regular
-Assist the team to identify at-risk projects and propose corrective solutions to senior management.
Qualifications:
-2+ years' experience as Associate in retail commercial real estate assets.
-Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or accounting
-A fundamental understanding of equity and debt balancing, the time value of
money, real estate finance, and sophisticated deal structures.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Strong financial background with knowledge of real estate
-Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google tools.
-Strong problem-solving skills, organized, detailed with ability to meet deadlines, and execute projects.
-Results driven, team player with ability to collaborate across the organization.
Location: Office based in Seattle, WA. Not open to hybrid or remote; Relocation assistance is available.
Compensation: $110,000-$120,000 Negotiable, commensurate with experience, plus Extensive Benefits Package and Bonus.
