Assistant Project Manager Job Description: As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the project management team to facilitate the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Assist in the development and management of project plans, schedules, and budgets. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met. Coordinate project activities and maintain communication with all stakeholders. Review and understand project drawings, specifications, and contracts. Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Monitor construction progress and quality, conducting regular site visits. Track and document project changes, RFIs, and other relevant information. Support in the resolution of technical issues and challenges. Assist in the preparation of project status reports and presentations. Contribute to the overall success of the project team through proactive participation. Assistant Project Manager Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in a construction-related role, with exposure to project management. Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and project documentation. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.
