MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Earned Master's Degree Possession of (or willing to acquire, if reinstated) Michigan Administrative Certification Prefer building Administrative experience Prefer five (5) years teaching experience, some experience with secondary students Tenured as a public school teacher Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum and instruction, including formative and summative assessment strategies Knowledge of current research and best instructional practices at the Middle School level; including positive behavior strategies such as Responsibility-Centered Discipline, etc. Demonstrated skills in the use of data to improve achievement, including the use of the data protocols Demonstrated skill(s) to provide leadership in the development and facilitation of a school climate most conducive to enhancing Middle School student academic achievement Demonstrated knowledge and experience with School Improvement Planning Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with students, staff, public and administration while maintaining accountability Possession of excellent written and verbal skills Experience with the facilitation and support of Professional Learning Communities Demonstrated ability to provide high level leadership and support regarding the implementation of established school reform models Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with leadership APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
