Responsibilities
• Developing partnerships with employers• Maintaining co-op positions and making appropriate referrals for students• Understanding the industry/field, employers, and positions• Preparing students for the co-op search and work experience• Teaching co-op related courses• Providing individual advising meetings• Collaborating with faculty and other co-op coordinators• Performing co-op, departmental, college, and university service• Engaging in service opportunities outside the University• Integrating work-based learning with curriculum-based learning
Requirements
• Master's degree in higher education administration, engineering, business administration, or a related field• Minimum of three years of professional work experience• Substantial use of technology tools• Excellent written and oral communication skills• Experience working with diverse staff/student populations• Experience working with international students• Demonstrated commitment to achieving and maintaining diversity in the workplace• Experience in working with engineers in a Human Resources setting• Knowledge of cooperative education is a plus
