Responsibilities
• Understand and execute paving procedures while following instructions to meet the standards of the project• Daily maintenance of equipment to remain in proper and safe operation• Ability to work as part of a team and following foreman's instructions to ensure schedules are met• Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes• Ability to follow traffic control instructions• Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working conditions
Requirements
• Ability to enter and exit heavy machinery while maintaining three points of contact, awareness of surroundings and multi-limb coordination• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry heavy objects (over 50 lbs.)• Must maintain constant alertness to help ensure construction site safety• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions• Experienced candidates preferred, willing to train on specifics of machines
