Role: Azure Architect Location: Kings of Prussia, Philadelphia PA (Hybrid with 3 Days in a Week) Experience: 12+ Years Responsibilities Architect and design Azure-based solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions using Azure services. Evaluate and recommend appropriate Azure services, tools, and frameworks based on project requirements and industry best practices. Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including solution blueprints, technical specifications, and diagrams. Lead and participate in technical discussions, providing expert guidance and recommendations on Azure-related topics. Implement Azure infrastructure components, such as virtual networks, storage accounts, virtual machines, and identity management solutions. Configure and optimize Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards by implementing appropriate Azure security controls and monitoring mechanisms. Hands on experience on Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes service Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services with Azure. Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution related to Azure infrastructure and services. Stay up to date with the latest Azure features, services, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience as an Azure Architect or a similar role, with a strong understanding of Azure services and architecture best practices. Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). In-depth knowledge of Azure services, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Cosmos DB. Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing security controls in Azure environments. Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to Azure infrastructure and services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
