You should be a creative problem solver who is attentive to details, manages your time well and learns quickly.Skill Sets Required:Ability to use hand tools and power toolsAbility to inspect and troubleshoot appliancesAbility to inspect and troubleshoot HVAC unitsHaving basic electrical knowledgeHaving basic plumbing knowledgeHaving basic carpentry knowledgeHaving basic drywall patch/repair, painting & texturing knowledgeBeing able to follow precise instructionsCommunication (written follow-up, ability to explain solutions to resident issues, etc.)Organization (Keeping track of work orders and keys)Ability to multitask (Handle and prioritize everyday work orders and emergencies)Apartment Make-ready:Review Make-ready documentationMake-ready inspections – Inspect ready apartments, model apartments, and recent move-outsPerform Make-ready maintenance – repairs as neededFollow procedure for entering a vacant apartmentKey locks (change locks/re-key)Daily Grounds Support:Walk the exterior (curb appeal, signage, remove trash, check lighting & functionality) and interior (club room, exercise room, business center, laundry room, etc.) of propertySwimming pool inspection (vacuum swimming pool)Grounds support and snow removalPrevious Job Experience:Preferred 1 year of Apartment Maintenance experienceContractors (Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general repair, painters, etc.)Construction workCommercial and/or Residential buildingEducation/Certifications:Preferred CPO certificationPreferred HVAC/ EPA Type I, II or Universal CertificationsTrade certifications desirableHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredRequired:Valid driver's license and reliable transportationMust be able to pass a background check and drug screeningOwn personal hand toolsCall or email us for more info!
