Job Description: An AP Specialist job in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The AP Specialist provides accurate and timely entry of a high volume of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, reconciliation and administration of company credit card program, and general accounting support for the department.

AP Specialist job responsibilities include:
Conduct timely and accurate processing of vendor setup and invoices daily, including:
•  Organize and enter invoices into the financial system ensuring they are routed for appropriate approval
•  Attach paperless backup within the financial system for each invoice
•  Review invoices and statements for discrepancies, research for resolution, communicate with vendors as needed regarding invoice status or discrepancy resolution.
•  Review and process reimbursements for sales department and other employee out of pocket expenses
•  Ensure proper new vendor setup, including appropriate W9 documentation
•  Generate annual vendor 1099 forms
•  Maintain vendor ACH and wire information
Accounts Receivable:
•  Review sales purchase orders for accuracy of item vintage, pricing, payment terms followed by distributor invoice creation and tracking
•  Maintain current Accounts Receivable ledger within payment terms, weekly follow-up on status update with supervisor
•  Weekly follow-up with customers on past due invoices and requests for payment status.
•  Entry of daily check and wire deposits
•  Entry of daily Point of Sale (POS) cash and credit card deposits
Position Requirements:
•  High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher desired
•  2+ years of prior experience in financial record keeping, or highly detail-oriented administrative and reporting role, high volume accounts payable experience in an ERP database system preferred
•  Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel, Outlook, Word; experience in enterprise reporting system preferred
•  Must be able to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and sit or stand for prolonged periods
Your Compensation
$20.68-26.89/hr. based upon relevant experience.
