Opportunity Highlights: We are currently hiring for a level level AP Specialist for an awesome commercial construction company for their growing accounting department.
We need an experienced AP Accountant with 5+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience.
Professional Skills and Traits Eager and self-directed Can work independently and inquisitive Able to work under pressure and handle high-volume invoices Able to interact with over 200-300 individuals Able to explain the fundamentals of accounts payable Able to articulate how you're able to keep organized Ability to explain subcontractor's payable process Experience working in a structured and detailed manner Builds positive working relationships with all stakeholders Job Summary Responsible for the processing of payment to subcontractors, which involves managing lien waiver compliance, correspondence with subcontractors, and coordination with the project team and Owner. Responsible for reconciliation between the accounting system and Textura.
Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for processing vendor invoices and payments Follows up with subcontractors on contractual payment requirements Provides exceptional customer service by interacting courteously and professionally with external vendors and internal employees Prepares and maintains basic excel schedules Coordinates activities with the project team, accounting members, and company executives Works with Subcontracts Payable team to provide coverage during an absence and assists team members as appropriate
