AP Accountant We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant for a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The Accounts Payable Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices and expenses. Responsibilities of the AP Accountant Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. Match invoices with purchase orders and packing slips to verify quantity, quality, and price. Obtain necessary approvals for invoices and expense reports. Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments. Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable. Participate in periodic audits and provide necessary support as required. Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and best practices. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient and effective accounts payable procedures. Qualifications of the AP Accountant Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
