Position Summary
Fortune 5 CVS Health has a dynamic opportunity for an investigations, data and analytics professional to join our dedicated Asset Protection Team focusing on both the Front Store & Pharmacy business. In this role, you will support department level data operations and drive internal development of impactful analytics to reduce retail losses and improve overall Front Store and Pharmacy profitability for the enterprise. You will support our AP field organization & partner with the corporate team to execute on data driven initiatives and strategy.
Essential Qualifications/Functions:
This position requires the combination of investigative curiosity and execution, technical reporting skills, business acumen, and the ability to work as a collaborative member in a team environment. The ideal candidate is a detailed orientated, self-motivated, individual who can work autonomously and manage multiple tasks in parallel.
SQL – At least intermediate level. The ability to run, interpret and write SQL code from scratch Tableau or Power BI – At least beginner level. Familiarity with basic graphs, charts, filters and simple aggregation calculations Relational Database Modeling ETL This position will be remote and may require some travel (10%) both within the division and to the CSC in Cumberland, RI.

Required Qualifications Knowledge of:
Minimum 2 years' of related work experience
Minimum 1 years' manipulating large data sets to support planned analyses, using SQL, excel, and similar tools
Core Duties:
Independently collect and analyze data to monitor existing metrics that correspond to shrink or margin loss using SQL and other data analysis tools Support enhancements for field and corporate facing reporting and Tableau dashboards Access, manipulate and maintain large datasets to support departmental profit protection activities Develop a deep understanding of the industry Advisory Duties:
Become trusted advisor to cross-functional business partners on source of truth for Asset Protection KPI
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of:
Minimum 3 years' of related work experience
Minimum 2 years' manipulating large data sets to support planned analyses, using SQL, excel, and similar tools
Skill in:
Python or R, Git, ETL tools (e.g. Trifacta, Alteryx)
Ability To:
Strong project management, presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from technical and non-technical business partners, and executives Ability to assign and monitor project tasks amongst partner colleagues Serve as peer mentor to incoming staff and interns
Education Required: Associates degree in data related field (or technical specialization from a MOOC platform i.e. Coursera) Preferred: Bachelors degree related to data analytics, computer science, finance, mathematics, or other data related fields Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,700.00 - $107,200.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
